Getting the best mortgage rate by predicting when lenders will change their rates

One of the most crucial parts of a mortgage loan are the terms. Since mortgage rates are constantly changing, sometimes several times throughout the day it is nearly impossible for consumers to know if they are getting the best deal. Once could argue that if they lock in a rate they are happy with that it is enough. However if they lock in as rates are continuing to drop they could lose money by not waiting. In many cases lenders simply quote rate, lock the loan, collect a fee and process the loan.

We think this is an outdated method and a poor excuse for service. We take the time to use technology and watch market trends to take advantage of falling interest rates. We provide this service at no additional cost. This is how we set ourselves apart from everybody else. Watch this short video with a basic explanation.

Did you know that cash is not best? Throw away those out dated lessons. Credit is better than cash when you use credit card rewards to your advantage. Watch this video to find out why.

Weak banks, scared small businesses, political noise & no loan growth

MrNChoudhury asked:

July 20 2011 CNBC [Background: Bank of America is expected to record more than $20bn in mortgage-related charges] David Joy, Ameriprise Financials, Chief Market Strategist Paul Miller, FBR Capital Markets, Former bank examiner of Philadelphia Fed Russ Umphenour, CEO of Focus Brands (Question: Bank of America closed below $10 for the first time since March 2009. Do you think that move was overdone?) David Joy — No. I think in the short run we are not quite certain. But I will say this. BofA is going to eventually clear up its balance sheet. It may take them a couple of years to get back to normalized earnings but they will get there. The same is somewhat true of JPMorgan. But still the sector is going to need more time. (Question: You’ve talked about how earnings are doing well. We’re worried about the debt ceiling and everything going on in Europe. What is your personal prediction for what happens to the man on the street or the small business owner in the US?) David Joy — I think you have to separate this environment into two parts. The first is the underlying fundamentals. We’re still wrestling with this question whether or not what we’ve gone through in the second quarter is just a temporary slowdown and we’re going to re-accelerate to a 3% growth rate or whether or not it’s more persistent. And we don’t know the answer to that yet. So that really is the issue in relation to the small business owner. My personal view is that we do re-accelerate to a better
